Imagine waking up every morning hoping to find a way out of your life. You can’t move forward but you can’t go backwards and you start to feel trapped! Everyone else is too busy to address your hurt. No friends! No love! No acceptance! Your nights are sleepless and tears fill your eyes from the burdens of life. You’re screaming at the top of your lungs believing that no one, not even God, can hear you. This is the reality a lot of people face on a daily basis. This was my reality for over 20 years. Suicide is running rampant in today’s society. People are finding it easier to commit suicide than commit to facing life’s challenges. Where’s the help? Where’s the hope? Where’s the love and compassion? Is this the fate of the Christian believer? Is this the fate of any individual? Does choosing God mean that we have to live a life filled with hurt, helplessness, and let-down? This book answers those questions. Survival is necessary and it all begins in the mind.

Such a timely book of transparency and relevance! There is no way anyone reading this would not be affected for the better! To write the raw truth about something as dark as suicide that had plagued the mind for 20 years is nothing short of immense courage to revisit and, strength that only God has gifted. Deep revelation shifted the focus off of suicide and on to the roots thereof which helped me vicariously live through the author to understand certain decisions. The simple eloquence of the wording captured me immediately making it impossible to put down! I especially admire the willingness of the author to reach deep into a painful past with the goal of helping so many to know that they are NOT alone and, that they too can find peace even in the midst of what seems impossible! This book WILL TRANSFORM minds and save lives..
